Covid and playing with images

While I haven’t exactly been stuck in the house like many people as I have been doing “essential” warehouse work during the week. Having full weekends and the Passover break to do a little bit of experimenting, I have been doing more work in Blender, mostly in a Star Wars theme. Many of you who follow me on Instagram have seen me posting these in my stories.

Much of this has been my continued bumbling around inside of Blender. The community on this program is fantastic. You can very quickly learn your way around the program and what it offers these days. I tried to get into it years ago and it was a nightmare. Now it’s much more intuitive, though there are still times that everything goes to shit but that’s learning.

This let me experiment with things that, while commonly used in projects I haven’t actually had a reason to use it in my own work. I grabbed an image of the greenscreen set from the new star wars to see how my project looked thru the windows of a familiar cockpit.

We’ll see how far this all goes but it has me wanted to do more playing in a galaxy far far away…
