The Bike Ride

I had the pleasure of shooting a small indie short recently written by and staring Scout Lapshaw.

It was entirely set out in the woods near Baltimore and gave me a chance to really stretch my legs on a few shots and situations I wanted to commit to film.

With some great looks and a darker tone. It’s the first project I’ve shot on my FX30. I decided not to do too much funkiness in camera and used my Rokinon glass throughout. With some decent complexity in camera and the cast and crew being up for some experimenting. After an initial developing pass on the footage, it’s firmly in post and then on to the festival circuit.
